The Postivarikko facilities are open for the use of residents daily at 06:00-23:00. Outside of these times, accessing the facilities is prohibited. The Postivarikko alarm system is activated outside of the opening hours, and the user is responsible for the costs caused by the false alarms.
Reservations for the Postivarikko facilities may be made between 6:30 and 22:00.
A receptionist is on-site to assist the residents with any usage-related questions for 10-20 hours per week. These exact times will be announced on the front page of the reservation website.
Access:
The access to Postivarikko is permitted with personal access codes, which are provided to registered users or users who have made a facility reservation through the Postivarikko booking service. The access code is then entered into a keypad next to the doors of Postivarikko, and the door is open when a green light lights up. Please note: The outside doors can be opened by pressing an elbow switch directly after entering the code.
The doors that can be opened with the access code received from the booking system are indicated by red arrows on the floor plan found in the information of each space.
Free of Charge Use of the Facilities:
Residents have free access to the lobby and library areas, workshop and multipurpose facilities, the kitchen, work and presentation spaces and the gym. Additionally, the open game slots in the sports hall are free of charge for residents. Access codes can be obtained by booking through the system. For open game slots, the access code is provided upon registration.
Reservation restrictions:
1. Reservations for the sports gall can be made up to 30 days in advance.
2. The reservations for other facilities can be made up to 6 months in advance.
3. Each resident can only have one reservation per station at a time for the work and presentation space and workshop.
4. For the sports hall, work and presentation space (in its entirety) and the multipurpose space (in its entirety), each resident can have a maximum of five reservations per facility at a time. This restriction does not apply to regular time slots in the sports hall.
Regular Time Slots in the Sports Hall:
It is possible to reserve regular time slots in the sports hall. The year is divided into three periods for regular time slot reservations, and these are January-April, May-August, and September-December.
Reservations for regular time slots are made at a time that is announced separately, approximately two months prior to the start of each reservation period. The first reservation period for September-December 2023 regular time slots will be announced in July of 2023, and further details will be provided on the front page of the booking website when the reservation period is nearing.

The Rules of Postivarikko
These rules must be followed when moving in and using the facilities of Postivarikko. A more detailed set of rules and specified rules for each space can be received from the operator of Postivarikko.
1. The facilities of Postivarikko are open to everyone within the opening hours. Bookings can be made through the booking portal of Postivarikko. The time slots can be reserved as one-time slots or seasonal, regular slots.
2. A Usage Agreement is made with the person who holds the right to use the facilities of Postivarikko. A usage fee based on the Postivarikko lease agreement is charged for the bookings.
3. Accessing booked facilities and time slots happens through the booking system unless specified otherwise. If needed, detailed information about the use of the facilities is provided by the operator.
4. You are in charge of the cleanliness of the booked and used facilities. Please leave the space in the same or better condition than when you arrived. Report any misconduct, damaged equipment, or other deficiencies as soon as possible after your booking.
5. Do not use the work machines or workout machinery before you have received a briefing for their use.
6. The space you have reserved is at your use for the time of your booking and always at your own responsibility. In the shared work and workout facilities it is reasonable that you take other users into consideration and let others use the equipment as well.
7. The user of the facilities may use the equipment provided but may not take them outside or the space. The equipment must also always be returned to its original place. The owner of a right to use the space is in charge of making sure that the equipment and machinery is used appropriately, and that they are not broken or otherwise damaged.
8. The use of alcohol is prohibited in the facilities of Postivarikko apart from the business space, if it is served. Additionally, the person with the booking or right to use may apply for a separate approval for use of alcohol in the space in case of special events.
9. The use of substances as well as smoking indoors is prohibited. The exception is the aforementioned (8.) authorized serving of alcohol.
10. The holder of the rights to use a space is always in charge of additional alarm, cleaning and other fees that the event or booking may cause.
11. Unauthorized loitering in the facilities is not allowed. The user with the booking has to make sure that everyone participating leaves after the booking and that the doors and windows are closed and locked.
12. The booker of sports and other hobby groups are responsible for making sure that all of the participants have left the facilities, including the changing rooms, 30 minutes after the booking. The booker is also responsible for ensuring that unauthorized persons do not enter the facilities through possibly unlocked doors during the booking.
13. The events and activities held in the facilities of Postivarikko shall not disturb nearby residential properties. The holder of the rights to use a space is responsible for this, as well as the legality of the activities happening inside of the reserved space.
14. While coming and going from the Postivarikko facilities the user must follow good manners and strive not to disturb other users of the facilities.
15. The holder of the rights to use a space is obligated to follow the specified rules and regulations given at the time of the booking.
16. The liability for compensation of Postivarikko is limited to a refund of the fee paid for the usage slot or booking if the booked space is not available during a paid period. The liability for compensation is limited to the replacement of a single time slot in case of regular/seasonal time slots if an individual slot is not available during the paid period.
17. Postivarikko processes user data in accordance with the privacy policy.
18. The property owner has the right to temporarily or permanently revoke the right to use if the holder of the right to use does not comply with the terms of the usage agreement, rules, or any additional instructions and regulations provided when booking the space. The property owner additionally has the right to temporarily or permanently revoke the right to use in a case of serious and/or repeated instances of vandalism and misuse.
