I started with agility about 21 years ago with my first dog, an Australian Shepherd. Today I have three Border collies, which I compete with mainly in agility grade 3, up to our national championships but we also compete some in herding.

In spring 2018 I was examined as an agility judge, that has led me around Europe so far. In spring 2023 I took the next step to be examined as an international judge. I just love to watch the teams having fun, I love to see different solutions to the challenges. I prefer courses with full speed where the dogs are offered natural lines and where independence can be put to the test. In my opinion, a good course contains several different handling options where you could possibly cut time for being brave. I want to see joy, speed and teamwork between handler and dog on the agility course with a dose of fighting spirit! In agility we don’t stand still! 

As an instructor I try to look for the team’s strengths and to find ways to develop out of the comfort zone to expand the toolbox. I am excited to come to Siilinjärvi to see you all at seminar and competition!
